Record Your Story
We can help you record the voices of your family telling all of your favorite family stories and singing your beloved family songs. All you need to do is outline your talking points, gather up your storytellers, and pick out 3-4 pictures for CD art. Your grandchildren will thank you!!!

Mike King and Ed Smith were Sun Bear's first recording effort. Their Hill Country Reggae sound has to be heard rather than explained. Mike's song lyrics are poignant and beautiful and their covers are masterful.

This project came from songwriter and guitarist Garry Burnside and vocalist Oshi Triplett. Garry was moved to write a song about reconciliation that will touch your heart and make you want to do better!!

Garry Burnside is known as the youngest son of Hill Country Bluesman RL Burnside. Sun Bear Jam is a mix of Hill Country and his own style. This CD features songs written by Garry and performed by the Garry Burnside Band.

On February 15, 2020, a few guys came in to try out the brand new studio equipment. It was warm and sunny outside so the doors were open. JC thought to hit record as the guys goofed off in the studio. It's a good thing because that would turn out to be our dear friend, Buddy Grisham's, last music. He died of Covid-19 Complications on April 3. This is what we recorded that day.

Becky Roland and her two daughters play fiddle, play guitar and sing. They came in the studio not long ago and recorded their homespun, old fashioned fiddle music with beautiful harmonies that only family can achieve. We look forward to turning their recording into a CD for them to sell at festivals. If you ever see one, buy it!! They are awesome!

The Grillhouse Band is a concoction of Father and Son McCafferty's, John Braddock of Elmer and the Russians Fame and Garry Burnside's smoking hot blues licks. They have blended Elmer and the Russians with rocking cover songs and Garry's amazing lead guitar blues into music that you just have to hear. When this session is mixed down and ready, it's going to be the perfect CD to turn up loud and ride around with the windows down.
